Hello KOA Elementary Families,
We have kicked off our Kids Heart Challenge with the American Heart Association today and need your help getting your student signed up online to save lives! 

Today, October 30 through November 21, our school's goal is for every student and family to know Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke which they can do by signing up and completing Finn’s Mission!
 
PARENTS – Your student should have a BLUE letter for you! Will you help them sign up today?
Step 1.  Scan the QR code on the letter and search for our school, or visit  http://www2.heart.org/goto/KOA to sign up!
Step 2.  Click the Hands Only CPR wheel on Finn’s Mission with your student to learn hands-only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke.
Step 3.  Send the CPR video to 10 family and friends, sharing the lifesaving skills of Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke. It will also allow them to make a personal donation to your student’s page!
 
Sign up Early before November 10 - and the class with the highest percent of students will earn 20 KOALA-ty Bucks per student! 

Why we support the American Heart Association: 75% of cardiac arrests occur in the home, and providing Hands-Only CPR immediately can double or triple a person’s chance of survival. Educating our students and families on heart health and lifesaving skills helps our community be safer!
